Classically trained, Bénédict began playing the piano at age four and followed the Vincent d'Indy music program for ten years before taking a break to concentrate on his studies. During his last year in high school, he discovered jazz and started playing in bands. In 2016, he graduated with a DEC in natural sciences and devotes most of his free time to music. After trying various university programs, he decided to devote himself full-time to music and return to CEGEP. In 2023, he obtained his DEC in jazz and popular music from Cégep de Saint-Laurent in Montreal and is currently studying composition at Université de Sherbrooke.

A multi-instrumentalist by training, Charles Roy Dubuc specialized in classical piano from an early age. For the past seven years, he has accompanied amateur choirs and novice soloists, and occasionally acts as a teaching assistant at the Université de Sherbrooke and Cégep de Sherbrooke. Holder of a DEC in classical piano from the Cégep de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor of Music from the Université de Sherbrooke, his main occupations are accompanying soloists, composing film music and researching music history. He will be delighted to teach you piano, taking into account your availability and musical tastes!

Charles gives lessons and has been part of the teaching staff at Long & McQuade Sherbrooke since the opening of the lesson center.
